If you are thinking about playing in the Reykjavik Open or are already registered, please make sure to take care of your registration before the 15th of March! If you are registered on chess-results you need to confirm your participation by paying the entry fee or otherwise send us assurance of your arrival.
Same for those that haven’t registered, they’ll need to register on chess-results and pay their entry fee.
This year it seems like we will have record numbers and we are already flirting with over 400 participants which smashes the previous record significantly!
We are very happy to have added the legend Vasyl Ivanchuk as the top seed. 32 GM’s are now registered and countless titled players. The influx of people local and from abroad choosing the Reykjavik Open as their first OTB international tournament is also very pleasing!
