Robert Hovhannisyan (2626) from Armenia was the only player on 3 out of 3 that managed to win his game in the 4th round. He, therefore, becomes the sole leader and the only player with a full house after four rounds.
Robert managed to hold on to a rather early pawn grab and made the extra pawn count in the end
On the top board an all Russian clash between Alexey Sarana and Mikhail Antipov produced an entertaining battle out of the Grunfeld. After exchanging blows, a draw was the final result.
A pair of fighting wins with the black pieces propelled David Navara and Ivan Saric into joint second in the tournament along with 11 other players.
Yet another win with black was scored by Anton Demchenko who got a pair of monster knights working well together to defeat German #1 Matthias Bluebaum.
Maxime Lagarde probably gets move of the day honors after his opponent blundered with 24…f5??
