The GAMMA Reykjavik Open will keep on going strong in 2018 and we will continue playing in the beautiful Harpa venue.
In 2017 we had 266 players from 40 countries with 33 GM’s and among them Super GM’s like Anish Giri and down all the way to unrated amateurs. A true chess experience like no other and we also have plenty of special events during the tournament, Golden Circle Tour, blitz tournament, pub quiz juts to name a few.
